Job Overview
Zions Bank is seeking a qualified Assistant Relationship Officer to serve commercial banking clients in Boise, Idaho. The role focuses on credit analysis, loan servicing, and client communication across a range of loan products.
Responsibilities
Analyze, investigate, gather, spread, and present financial data, tax information, and credit documentation for determining a client’s credit worthiness.
Remain flexible and take on additional due diligence and portfolio file maintenance responsibilities to enable the success of the bank.
Place calls to clients to better underwrite credits.
Assist with collection efforts and customer problem resolution.
Consult with relationship managers and portfolio managers in preparing customer information for credit review and loan presentations.
Assist in providing customer service on behalf of loan officers, relationship managers, and team leaders.
Manage disbursement of funds.
Review and initiate loan documents for legal and structural considerations, ensuring policies and regulations are followed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and some experience in loan processes, credit, credit analysis, documentation, or other directly related experience.
Basic knowledge of credit, credit analysis, and experience working with various types of loans.
The ability to meet deadlines, audit documentation, and solve problems.
The ability to make recommendations to officers.
Good communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and various types of credit analysis software.
Attention to detail with consistent self‑management and follow‑through.
Motivation to be part of a driven team, proactive, confident, and inspirational to achieve bank initiatives and loan growth.
