Overview
Nuveen Marketing is responsible for developing and delivering Nuveen’s global brand and marketing strategy. The AVP of Product Marketing works alongside the MD of Product Marketing and the client marketing team to advance the product marketing content strategy and objectives for Nuveen’s public product investment platform. The role involves developing marketing content aligned with capital‑raising priorities, supporting product marketing for fixed income and other asset classes across global markets, and collaborating with teams in product, client portfolio management, investments, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute high‑quality, differentiated product marketing content for public products.

Drive the creation and implementation of marketing collateral, product positioning, and thought leadership aligned with business strategy across vehicles including separately managed accounts, institutional separate accounts, ETFs, mutual funds, and UCITS.

Partner with stakeholders across product, investment teams, portfolio strategists, global client group teams, and marketing colleagues to ensure competitive differentiation of capabilities across collateral and campaigns.

Support new product launches, product actions, and ongoing systematic campaigns including content goals, creation, production, and distribution through marketing platforms.

Assess market trends, competitive positioning, and client behaviors to inform and optimize messaging and content development.

Manage updates of marketing collateral and web content—including presentations, strategy profiles, product and market commentaries, web pages, paid search, social, display ads, and other sales‑support materials—in partnership with marketing generalists and services teams.

Serve as a product subject matter expert on integrated thematic campaigns that leverage paid, earned, and owned marketing levers.

Work with compliance to ensure materials meet regulatory guidelines and support the compliance process from initial submission to final approval.

Education Requirements

University degree preferred.

Experience

3+ years of experience in financial services or asset management (5+ years preferred).

Physical Requirements

Mostly sedentary work.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of financial services or asset management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of related financial services or asset management experience.

Bachelor’s degree.

Experience working with wealth and institutional audiences, sales, investment teams, and knowledge of the sales process.

Proven relationship‑management experience.

Knowledge of fixed‑income markets, municipal bonds, tax optimization, direct indexing strategies, active ETFs, and UCITS.

Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.

Track record of managing multiple projects from start to finish.

Credentials in implementing effective campaigns and communications programs.

Cross‑border and multi‑lingual experience or skills.

Industry licensing is a plus.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe, Workfront, Zoom, Seismic, MarTech, and AI workflow tools.

Experience with complex compliance and filing requirements.

Compensation
Base salary: $87,200 – $105,000 per year. Actual salary may vary based on experience, role, and placement. The compensation package may include incentive programs tied to performance.
