Responsibilities

Drive business development and manage key client relationships.
Generate significant revenue from sales and syndications.
Act as an escalation point for complex client issues and resolve conflicts using strategic problem‑solving.
Structure complex deals, secure credit approvals, and negotiate high‑value transactions.
Develop new business by contacting prospects and cross‑selling BMO products and services such as credit, trust/investment, and cash management.
Review loan applications and cash‑management service agreements to ensure accuracy and alignment with risk‑management standards.
Develop market strategies, identify opportunities and expand client portfolios.
Represent the bank at industry forums and conferences, providing insights on trends and emerging products.
Engage with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to align strategies and address client needs.
Prepare reports on team performance, client satisfaction, and market trends for senior executives.
Build and maintain long‑term relationships with high‑value and strategic clients, providing strategic financial advice.
Analyze market trends, client industry developments, and competitive positioning to inform client solution strategies.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and compliance policies in all relationship‑management activities.
Qualifications

7+ years of relevant experience in Relationship Management, Account Management or Portfolio Management in a corporate or similarly segmented banking environment with sales metrics.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline (or comparable experience).
Experience with credit qualification and resourcing in a credit portfolio if the role requires it.
Deep technical proficiency in product knowledge, regulatory compliance, deal structuring, portfolio management, credit risk assessment, project management, customer service, problem solving, negotiation, and relationship building.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $88,800.00 – $165,600.00 (Salaried; may include commission based on performance).
