Industrial Painter - 1st Shift

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter for our first shift, which operates Monday through Friday with flexible hours between 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This role involves applying industrial and aerospace paint using a spray gun and working in a paint booth. A key responsibility is preparing surfaces and maintaining quality production standards in an industrial setting.
Responsibilities

Apply industrial and aerospace paint using spray guns in a controlled paint booth environment.
Prepare surfaces for painting by blasting and utilizing paint prep techniques.
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate painting specifications.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, including wearing a respirator.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
Essential Skills

Proven experience in industrial painting, preferably in aerospace or aviation industries.
Ability to wear and work with a respirator, with training and fit test provided.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding painting specifications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with blasting and other paint preparation techniques.
Familiarity with production processes in industrial settings.

Work Environment

The role is based in an industrial facility with dedicated paint booths, using advanced spray gun technology. The work is conducted during the first shift from Monday to Friday, with flexibility in start times to accommodate personal schedules. The dress code requires adherence to safety standards, including respirator use during painting operations.
Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Tulsa, OK.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
