Role Description – Sales Director (Women's Footwear)

Full‑time role based in New York, NY, with flexibility for work from home. The Sales Director leads and executes sales strategies for the women’s footwear category, oversees key accounts, and drives revenue growth across wholesale, retail, and digital channels. Day‑to‑day activities include managing sales pipelines, coordinating sales operations, and developing business opportunities with new and existing partners. The Sales Director collaborates closely with merchandising, marketing, and product teams to align assortment, pricing, and promotional plans with market needs. The role also involves fostering strong customer relationships, representing the brand in buyer meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
Business Development & Account Growth

Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective retail partners
Identify and secure new key accounts, successfully driving placements and expanding sold‑to distribution
Represent Amie Rafa across specialty boutiques and key retail partners
Sales Process & Performance

Own the end-to-end sales process, including pipeline management, forecasting, and performance tracking
Meet and exceed seasonal and annual sales quotas
Track and report on account performance and pipeline health on a regular cadence
Lead brand representation and account management at major trade shows, including Atlanta and New York City
Education & Experience

5–8 years of sales experience, preferably within fashion or footwear
Proven ability to build and grow wholesale accounts
Ability to bring on a book of business/relationships
Skills & Competencies

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities across a multi‑brand portfolio
Willingness to travel for key trade shows, including Atlanta and New York City
Base & Commission

This role offers a highly competitive, commission and salary‑based compensation structure, with the opportunity to earn above‑market commissions based on performance.
