Social Media - Digital Content Specialist

Responsibilities

Develop and execute social media strategies across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, Facebook, YouTube).

Create, schedule, and publish engaging daily content tailored to each platform.

Monitor analytics to track KPIs for performance, engagement, and growth.

Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and foster a sense of community.

Coordinate social campaigns around key sports events, streaming content, and breaking news.

Stay up to date on trends in sports and digital media to keep content fresh and relevant.

Assist in scheduling and managing live sports streams via the platform and app.

Collaborate with the broadcast team to ensure consistent branding and messaging across platforms.

Produce short-form vertical videos (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) to promote stories, games, or athletes.

Capture behind-the-scenes moments and in-game content for social audiences.

Requirements

A minimum of 1–3 years of experience in social media, digital content production, or digital marketing.

Passion for sports and strong familiarity with Midwest teams, athletes, and fan culture.

Proficiency in tools like Adobe Premiere, Canva, Photoshop, or CapCut.

Experience with live streaming tools and platforms is a plus.

Excellent writing, editing and visual storytelling skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends during sports seasons.

Current residence in and the ability to work in the greater Sioux Falls, SD metro area.

Some travel may be required.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record that is insurable by the company.

Must carry an acceptable level of vehicle insurance as required by the company.
