About Us

Ghosal Luxury Lodging is a collection of private luxury cabins in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee — large-group compounds, secluded retreats, and mountain top estates. Ghosal Experiences is our micro-wedding and elopement venue brand, offering intimate ceremony venues across multiple properties. Sojourn Tiny Home Village is an emerging glamping destination featuring private tiny homes, a community village concept, and an on-site cave tour experience.

We're a small, fast-moving ownership team building three distinct hospitality brands simultaneously. We need someone who can own the full marketing communications function — independently, without a large team behind them.

The Role

You'll be the marketing and communications owner across all three brands. That means setting the editorial calendar, writing the pitches, sending the emails, posting the content, managing the press relationships, and keeping the OTA listings sharp — all at once, all the time.

We need someone who understands hospitality marketing, can write well, knows how to build a brand presence from the ground up, and takes ownership without being managed.

What You'll Own

Content & SEO

Publish 2–4 blog posts per week across GLL, GE, and Sojourn targeting high-intent search terms

Build out transactional landing pages: large group cabins, elopement guides, hero discounts, location category pages

Implement schema markup (Article, FAQ, LocalBusiness) on all published content

Create Guest Posting Strategy for Backlinks/Drive Backlink Strategy

Analyze SEO Gaps and run monthly SEO Audits

PR & Communications

Pitch travel, wedding, and lifestyle publications for editorial coverage (T+L, Condé Nast Traveler, Garden & Gun, Southern Living, AFAR, and regional outlets)

Write and distribute press releases for new launches, awards, and milestones

Maintain media kits and manage press stays from logistics to follow-up

Monitor brand mentions and manage our reputation across press, review platforms, and social

Own crisis communications — draft responses, coordinate with ownership

Email Marketing

Manage all email via Brevo across three brands and segmented guest lists

Run monthly newsletters and build automated sequences: post-stay, rebooking, pre-arrival, seasonal, abandoned inquiry

Grow the list; report monthly on open rates, CTR, and booking attribution

Social Media

Own content calendars and publishing across Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok for all three brands

Write all captions, manage hashtag strategy, engage with comments and DMs within 24 hours

Source and schedule UGC; flag photo/video gaps for new shoots

Google Business Profile

Publish 2–4 posts/month per brand, refresh photos monthly, respond to reviews within 48 hours

Track profile views, clicks, and direction requests monthly

OTA Listings

Audit and rewrite listing titles and descriptions across Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com

Manage photo uploads and ensure consistency across channels

Monitor competitor listings monthly

Ad Copy Review

Review all Meta and Google ad copy before launch — headlines, primary text, CTAs

Maintain a swipe file of top-performing copy; suggest improvements based on performance data

What We're Looking For

3–5 years in hospitality, travel, or lifestyle marketing — agency or in-house

Proven track record writing editorial pitches that landed coverage

Strong writer: blog posts, press releases, email copy, social captions — all of it

Hands-on with Brevo (or similar ESP), Meta Business Suite, Canva or equivalent

Comfortable managing multiple brands simultaneously without losing voice consistency

Self-directed: you ask for what you need, then figure it out

Bonus

Experience with Airbnb/Vrbo listing optimization

Familiarity with SEO fundamentals (keyword research, on-page, schema)

Prior work in wedding/event, glamping, or boutique lodging

What We Offer

Competitive salary commensurate with experience

Complimentary stays at our properties

Direct access to ownership — no bureaucracy, no approval chains on the small stuff

A role that grows as the brands grow

Flexible work from home options available.
