Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior VMD & In-Store Graphic Designer to lead the development and execution of compelling in-store visual presentations and window displays. This role is responsible for guiding creative projects from concept through execution, mentoring junior designers, and ensuring all visual communications align with brand standards. This is a hands-on role requiring strong design skills, project management experience, and cross-functional collaboration with internal teams. You'll bring our brand to life in physical retail spaces through innovative design, storytelling, and visual merchandising strategies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end design projects, including creation of renderings, asset development, and visual presentations for windows and in-store displays.
- Develop window display concepts incorporating mannequins, propping, fixtures, and marketing materials.
- Manage and mentor junior designers, providing creative direction and feedback.
- Ensure all communication is clear, concise, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align visual merchandising, store design, and marketing collateral.
- Maintain consistent project organization and timelines while managing multiple deliverables.
- Oversee VMD budgeting and finance processes, including PO management and use of COUPA or related platforms.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in senior design or design management roles.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Basic working knowledge of 3-D modeling programs (e.g., Google SketchUp, Adobe Dimension).
- Strong visual and spatial design skills with an eye for detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts and decisions.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and a collaborative team player.
- Able to work independently and manage projects within scope, timeline, and budget.
- Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings and weekends based on business needs.
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Visual Merchandising, Graphic Design, or related field preferred — or equivalent professional experience.
Salary:
$100,000 - $122,000 *The offered salary or salary range is based on several factors, including, but not limited to, overall experience, relevant experience, education level, certifications, applicable skills and expertise, and location of the position.
