Position Overview
Hybrid work opportunity as a Global Trade Site Lead for a headquarters location, based out of East Hartford, Connecticut. Partners with GT Program Support teams to ensure compliance with Global Trade rules and regulations and program alignment.
What You Will Do
Serve as the primary Global Trade contact for the East Hartford or Longueuil site, providing comprehensive coordination across the site.
Partner with GTPS to identify, assess, and manage global trade issues, opportunities or enhancements at the physical site.
Lead/coordinate site level GT council(s) with the GT community at the site.
Serve as point of contact for site level audit(s), corrective actions, site card maintenance and related data.
Communicate clearly, build relationships, exercise good judgment and work effectively across P&W.
Qualifications You Must Have
Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of global trade experience, including experience in roles that ensure compliance with the ITAR, EAR, and U.S. sanctions regulations; OR Advanced Degree and 5+ years of global trade experience with the same compliance experience.
US Citizen due to program requirements.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, specifically related to working with cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Must be able to develop clear, concise, and logically written business communications and deliver recommendations.
Self-starter with demonstrated ability to motivate, influence, manage crisis, and develop effective networks with internal customers and collaborate with multiple business functions for success.
Comfortable making quick decisions and exercising good judgment with escalation of issues.
Experience working with executive level management; Ability to clearly communicate at all organizational levels.
Advanced degree.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits depend on the business unit and collective‑bargaining agreement.
