Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Newsroom Editor will accurately prepare and transmit news releases, manage client communications, and ensure timely operations during overnight shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM EST.
Key responsibilities
Format, edit, and proofread press releases for accurate distribution
Communicate with clients to resolve issues and provide guidance on submission processes
Monitor incoming orders and ensure timely handling and successful transmission of content
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Proficiency in standard business applications (e.g., MS Word and Excel)
Ability to multitask and prioritize workflow under tight deadlines
Strong customer service skills and a professional phone manner
Demonstrated reliability through good attendance and punctuality
