Seeking a full-time, remote Retail Design Director, the candidate will manage the development of retail design concepts across various sectors, translate brand identities into engaging spatial experiences, and collaborate with project teams to ensure design intent is realized through technical documentation and execution.
Key responsibilities
Contributes to the development of retail design concepts, including customer flow and operational layouts
Produces concept materials and prepares space plans, layouts, and design drawings
Coordinates with consultants and vendors to support design development and project delivery
Required qualifications
Graduate of architecture or design school
3-6 years of experience in retail design projects
Strong design and conceptual thinking skills with a focus on brand-driven environments
Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering software
Understanding of retail design principles, including customer experience and operational planning
