Interaction Designer/ UI Engineer

Immediate need for a talented Interaction Designer/ UI Engineer. This is a 12+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in US (Remote).
Job ID: 26-23456 Pay Range: $70 - $80/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
Design and build high-quality experiences with a systems approach.
Contribute to and evolve the design system: developing reusable components and documentation.
Translate experience specifications, content and creative direction into polished UI and working code.
Work with Figma or emerging AI design tooling to design, spec, and prototype.
Integrate and manage content through Sitecore (headless CMS), supporting real-world publishing needs.
Participate in design critiques
Partner with engineers on implementation.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
Working within brand guidelines and scalable outcomes
Consumer grade web experience
Design
Proficient with Figma, creating and scaling design systems
Experience with emerging AI design tooling and workflows
Motion design & animation
Strong visual & interaction sensibility
Data viz design
5+ years hybrid design/frontend experience working on B2C products
Engineering
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React (or modern frontend framework)
Familiarity with headless CMS platforms
D3.js, Recharts, or similar (data viz)
Component-based architecture
WCAG accessibility standards
Design tokens & design system tooling
Storybook or similar component documentation
Experience with front end frameworks
Experience with CMS
Soft Skills: Good presentation skills
Years of Experience: 5+
Education - H.S. diploma or GED
Candidate will be working as part of a team
