Footwear Materials Designer

We are seeking a Footwear Materials Designer for a special project focused on signature and core products. This role requires a creative professional with a strong understanding of material design and its business applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop materials for footwear across multiple segments of a product line.
Contribute to inline work for signature and core products.
Present a strong portfolio showcasing recent work, design process, and taste level relevant to the brand.
Required Qualifications
A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in creative footwear material design is required.
Skills
Proven experience working on multiple segments of a product line.
Demonstrated interest or knowledge in skateboarding, sneaker culture, or streetwear.
A portfolio that includes examples of recent work, and shows the design process from concept to completion.
Preferred Qualifications
A basic understanding of leathers, canvases, uppers, synthetics, wovens, and meshes is preferred. Knowledge of footwear trims is a bonus.
Understanding of the business aspects related to material design.
Technical knowledge of materials.
Previous industry experience with a focus on skateboarding.
