Journalism and print production experience required. Video production experience preferred. Industry experience in construction markets preferred.

What You’ll Do
- Act as brand editorial lead for both asphalt and pavement markets. Construction industry experience preferred but not required.
- Write long-form and short-form articles, product write-ups, blogs and more for both print and online, both scheduled and while attending tradeshows/conferences.
- Write, assign and manage contributed content for both print and online.
- Manage e-newsletters and social media channels.
- Demonstrate comfort creating digital content; this includes on-camera video, SEO-driven articles and other online assets.
- Spearhead monthly production process for both print publications, including working with Production Manager, Art Director and more.
- Monitor content in accordance with content analytics platform.
- Collaborate with the Construction content team to identify and share content.
- Facilitate and oversee awards programs and spec guides, and work with Content Director and Sales team to continue improving processes, etc.
- Contribute to custom client content and programs when needed.
- Work with Content Director to identify top industry topics, create annual editorial calendars, update digital media kit and more.
- Help manage content for ForConstructionPros.com/Asphalt and ForConstructionPros.com/Pavement, including but not limited to contributed content, posting of news and events and more.
- Must be comfortable on-camera for video, social and podcast content creation to moderate podcasts, webinars and in-person conference sessions as needed.
- Attend tradeshows/conferences and other industry events.
- Be able to repurpose content for different forms of media.
- Work with Editorial Advisory Board to receive contributed content, discuss trends and more.

- Must be comfortable working with advertisers, conducting video interviews, conducting over-the-phone interviews and participating in team and company meetings with video on.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Parsely, Google Analytics, content management systems and more.
- Travel overnight at least 10% of time.

- Help manage content for ForConstrutionPros.com/Asphalt and ForConstructionPros.com/Pavement, including but not limited to contributed content, news items, original bylined content and more.
- Ensure brand social media channels are engaging, increase audience and provide a platform for further monetization.
- Create engaging social media posts to check in with audience, drive interest and encourage others to follow.
- Build audience to increase revenue-generating opportunities.
- Keep up with any new platform changes or algorithms to ensure efficiency of posting.
- Other duties as assigned are achieved in helping the brand(s) meet revenue goal(s)
- Participate in team and company meetings.
- Engage in client networking and building relationships.
- Attend tradeshows/conferences and other industry events.
- Collaborate with internal teams to accomplish client or sales efforts projects, including webinars, premium content, other customer projects and more.
- Oversee all awards and recognition programs and ensure they’re in line with brand and revenue goals.
- Collaborate with Art Director in production for print issues.
- Help proofread print pages to ensure quality content.
- Contribute to and/or moderate podcasts, webinars and in-person conference sessions as needed.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Print production, video production and website management experience preferred.
- Industry experience in the construction network preferred.
- Must be able to join a dynamic team of journalists who exhibit pride, passion, positivity and motivation.
- Must be comfortable on-camera for video, social and podcast content creation to moderate podcasts, webinars and in-person conference sessions as needed.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and/or exceeding goals.
