Job Summary

The Marketing Communications Specialist supports the School's marketing and communications efforts by creating compelling content that strengthens Pembroke Hill's brand, engages its community, and advances institutional priorities. Working closely with the other members of the Marketing & Communications team, this position collaborates with colleagues across admissions, advancement, athletics, and the academic divisions to develop content for print, digital, social media, website, and multimedia platforms.
The successful candidate is a creative, detail-oriented communicator who enjoys building relationships, telling meaningful stories, and managing multiple projects in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This individual will represent The Pembroke Hill School professionally while interacting with parents, students, faculty and staff, alumni, donors, prospective families, and other members of the school community.
Qualifications and Requirements

t sBachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, or a related fiel
d.2+ years of professional experience in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or a related field, with experience in writing, content creation, social media, and print or digital publication desig
n.Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, grammar, and verbal communication skill
s.Strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadline
s.Ability to build positive working relationships and communicate effectively with students, parents, faculty and staff, alumni, donors, and prospective familie
s.Knowledge of journalistic writing, publication design, and AP styl
e.Experience creating engaging content for social media platform
s.Familiarity with website content management systems (CMS) preferre
d.Proficiency with Canva and Microsoft Office; working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator) preferre
d.Experience capturing and editing high-quality photograp
hyExperience producing and editing short-form video content for digital communication
