Leepfrog Technologies develops CourseLeaf, the leading academic operations platform for higher education. More than 550 colleges and universities rely on CourseLeaf to streamline academic operations, helping institutions better serve millions of students.

We're looking for a creative, organized, and curious college student who wants to gain real-world experience in B2B marketing and social media.

As our Social Media Marketing Intern, you'll help tell the stories of our customers, employees, products, and higher education thought leadership across LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube. You'll work closely with our marketing team to create engaging content, monitor performance, and contribute ideas that strengthen our digital presence.

This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or digital media who wants hands‑on experience with a growing software company.

This role is perfect if you are well‑versed in social media and digital trends, have a passion for writing and creating visual content, and are eager to build a professional marketing portfolio. Additionally, you should be curious about technology and higher education and thrive in an environment where you can contribute ideas and collaborate with others.

What You'll Do

Assist with creating and scheduling social media posts

Write engaging captions and adapt content for different platforms

Design simple social graphics using Canva or similar tools

Edit short videos and create clips for social media

Help identify trending topics and relevant higher education conversations

Monitor social channels and engage with comments when appropriate

Track social media performance and prepare monthly analytics reports

Repurpose articles, customer stories, and events into social content

Research industry trends

Assist with marketing campaigns and special projects as needed

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field

Strong written communication skills

Creative thinker with an eye for engaging content

Familiarity with LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube

Comfortable using Canva or willing to learn

Organized and able to manage multiple projects

Detail-oriented and dependable

Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Bonus Skills

Canva

HubSpot

Video editing software (CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, etc.)

Basic understanding of analytics or SEO
