Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Duncan, OK. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, expanding membership, and building relationships with community partners, local businesses, and prospective members. Day-to-day tasks include conducting outreach and presentations, attending community and networking events, and promoting Endurance FCU’s products and services to drive growth. The Business Development Manager will collaborate with internal teams to align marketing and member engagement strategies, track business development activities, and report on results. This role also involves analyzing market trends, recommending new initiatives, and ensuring that all activities support the credit union’s mission of enhancing member financial well-being.
Qualifications
Proven skills in business development, sales, or relationship management, with the ability to build and maintain strong professional and community relationships.
Experience with marketing, community outreach, or member engagement, including conducting presentations and representing an organization at events.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse member and partner groups.
Ability to analyze market opportunities, set measurable goals, and use data to track and improve business development performance.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer service orientation, aligned with a member-focused cooperative environment.
Comfort working on-site in Duncan, OK, with reliable transportation for local travel to community and partner locations.
Prior experience in financial services, credit unions, or banking is beneficial but not required.
Associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
