Responsibilities
- Maintain and further establish strong professional relationships across the client organization, focusing on e‑clinical technology, and proactively engage with client teams.
- Develop and maintain deep client knowledge—understand their business priorities, organizational culture, product portfolio and pipeline, spend/budget priorities.
- Manage a systematic client‑feedback approach, soliciting information from client teams about the experience of working with IQVIA.
- Act as the go‑to person to diffuse tensions and complaints stemming from IQVIA engagements for both IQVIA and client teams.
- Lead operational management and oversight of IQVIA’s Clinical Technology activities for local and international markets.
- Manage assigned strategic and key account relationships individually or in coordination with Global and Regional Sales Teams.
- Identify and respond to customer needs to define potential opportunities for Clinical Technology and propose tailored solutions aligned with client needs.
- Collaborate with IQVIA’s internal RFX, Pricing & Contracts team to support the sales cycle from RFX to sale.
- Work with other members of the IQVIA Clinical technology team to support the sales strategy (e.g., solution engineers, product team, other technology, or services team members).
- Identify opportunities to engage with client teams and provide relevant marketing and thought‑leadership materials.
- Manage the annual Strategic Management Review conference.
- Identify or create opportunities to introduce relevant IQVIA personnel who are working in areas of high interest for the client as part of peer‑to‑peer engagement.
- Build on knowledge of client priorities and partner with the Technology Business Partner and Global Account Director to identify strategic discussions and major opportunities for IQVIA.
- Actively engage in the Sales and Account Management community, bringing in relevant ideas and success stories from other major accounts.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of Clinical Technology solutions.
- 10+ years of experience in sales, business development or related positions within the pharmaceutical, CRO, life‑science or regulated industry.
- Proven track record of managing mid‑level and high‑level contacts.
- Strong organizational, planning, and project‑management skills.
- Experience in dealing with outsourcing, procurement, and mid‑management contact levels.
- Excellent business/industry awareness and a thorough understanding of industry trends and their impact on the business.
- Excellent analytical skills in assessing and interpreting customer business data.Ability to maintain demanding timelines.
- Ability to influence others internally and externally.
- Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work creatively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work simultaneously on multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients.
Compensation and Benefits
The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $111,200.00 – $309,800.00. Actual base pay may vary based on qualifications, location, and schedule. Incentive plans, bonuses, and other compensation may be offered, along with a range of health and welfare benefits.
