Apparel Pre-Production Coordinator – Private Label Programs

We are looking for a highly creative and driven individual to help assist the team in a fast-paced environment.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Apparel Pre-Production Coordinator with experience in swimwear (women’s and/or men’s) to support private label programs and internal product initiatives.

This role will manage the pre-production process from development through production, partnering closely with overseas mills, vendors, factories, and retail customers, including major retailers such as Walmart and Target.

Key Responsibilities

Manage pre-production timelines (T&A calendars) and coordinate all development and approval milestones across multiple programs and product categories

Coordinate approvals for lab dips, strike-offs, fabrics, trims, labels, packaging, testing and compliance requirements to ensure bulk production readiness

Track and manage development, advertising and production testing samples throughout the approval process

Partner with overseas mills, vendors and factories to monitor development progress, resolve issues, and maintain on-time execution

Ensure fabric, color, trim, labeling, packaging and product execution meet customer specifications and company standards

Proactively identify and address development and pre-production risks, including fabric, color, trim, testing and supply chain issues

Support major retail programs, including Walmart and Target and work within retailer systems and portals as required

Maintain sustainability, compliance and certification documentation, including GRS, RCS, and BCI requirements

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in apparel pre-production, product development, or production coordination

Required: Experience in swimwear (women’s and/or men’s)

Strong understanding of fabric development, trims, labeling, packaging, and color management

Experience working with overseas vendors, mills, and factories

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Experience supporting major retailers such as Walmart and Target preferred

Familiarity with retailer systems, portals, testing, compliance, and sustainability requirements

Experience with color management tools and systems (e.g., ColorFlow, X-Rite/iQc10), including spectrophotometer knowledge
