  • Own the full sales process from initial inquiry through move-in.
  • Meet and exceed occupancy and revenue goals through consistent and strategic sales execution.
  • Conduct engaging community tours and personalized consultations with prospective residents and their families.

Sales & Occupancy

  • Own the full sales process from initial inquiry through move-in.

  • Develop a thorough understanding of each prospect's needs, preferences, and circumstances.

  • Create a welcoming and personalized sales experience that converts prospects into residents.
  • Maintain a strong focus on lead generation, follow-up, conversion, and occupancy.

Business Development & Referral Relationships

  • Develop and maintain strong referral relationships with healthcare professionals, senior service organizations, financial planners, real estate professionals, and other community partners.
  • Conduct regular outreach and business development visits throughout the local market.
  • Identify new referral sources and opportunities to generate qualified leads.
  • Represent the community at networking events, community presentations, industry functions, and other local events.
  • Build a strong professional network and become a trusted ambassador for the community.
  • Maintain consistent communication with referral partners and cultivate long-term relationships.

Lead Management & CRM

  • Manage the sales pipeline through the community's CRM system.
  • Ensure all leads and prospect information are entered accurately and kept current.
  • Provide timely and consistent follow-up with prospects and families.
  • Monitor sales activity, pipeline performance, conversion rates, and other key sales metrics.
  • Identify opportunities to improve lead conversion and overall sales performance.
  • Develop and execute follow-up strategies that keep prospects engaged throughout their decision-making process.

Marketing & Community Outreach

  • Plan and host marketing events, educational seminars, open houses, referral appreciation events, and other community activities.
  • Partner with the marketing team to develop campaigns designed to increase awareness and generate qualified leads.
  • Provide input regarding marketing materials, digital content, and community messaging.
  • Participate in community outreach and networking activities that increase visibility within the local market.
  • Help position the community as a preferred Independent Living option for older adults and their families.

Customer Experience

  • Respond promptly and professionally to all inquiries.
  • Provide knowledgeable and accurate information regarding pricing, services, amenities, and lifestyle options.
  • Deliver personalized consultations based on each prospect's individual needs.
  • Guide prospective residents and their families through the decision-making process with professionalism, empathy, and confidence.
  • Ensure every interaction reflects a commitment to hospitality, compassion, and exceptional service.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism throughout the entire sales process.

Qualifications

  • Proven success in consultative sales, preferably within an Independent Living environment, with a demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong business development and lead-generation abilities.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple prospects, priorities, and deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the broader community and marketing team.
  • Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office.
  • Genuine passion for serving older adults and their families.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Five or more years of successful sales experience.
  • Experience in senior living, hospitality, healthcare, real estate, or another relationship-based sales environment.
  • Experience selling a high-consideration product or service.
  • Experience developing professional referral networks and community partnerships.
  • Experience with Yardi CRM or a similar sales management platform is a plus.
