Radio Frequency Engineer IIIThe Radio Frequency Engineer III supports the NSWC Crane Model-Based Engineering Assessment Division (Code MXM) on the MXM EMSO effort, executing assigned Technical Instructions under Government technical direction in support of the RDT&E, mission engineering, modeling and simulation, and Fleet-support tasking defined in the SOW/PWS. The position requires 10 years of professional experience with radio frequency engineering. The Radio Frequency Engineer III performs assigned work in accordance with Team quality, configuration-management, and security requirements.Additional Desired Experience· 10+ years experience with radio frequency engineering.· TS/SCI eligibility preferred.· Knowledge of RF devices and/or systems.· Knowledge of electronic test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes, Amplifiers, and other Radio Frequency components.· Knowledge of RF Communications systems engineering and/or integration.Requirements· Master's degree in a quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems)· 10 years of professional experience with radio frequency engineering.· Active DoD SECRET security clearance (or interim) required and must be maintained.· Required work location: NSWCCR / Contractor Facility.
