The Lion Brewery is seeking highly motivated, goal driven candidates for Production Worker positions.

Responsibilities

Start machinery and make adjustments to machinery when necessary to improve performance

Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions

Execute product changeovers

Troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance

Complete necessary job qualification within the designated timeframe

Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to supervisor

Comply with all safety regulations- All employees are expected to use proper PPEs while at work which includes safety shoes (steel toes), safety glasses and hard hat

Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in work area

Be part of the team and help with other tasks when necessary

Effectively work with supervisors, mechanics and other workers to ensure timely and accurate work.

Must be available to work any shift 2nd, 3rd, alternative work week schedule, and overtime.

Employee must be able to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment

Self-motivated with strong communication skills, able to work comfortably in a fast-paced changeover environment

Responsible for their own attendance and reliability

Expected to come to work when scheduled, on time, and ready to work

Expected to make the necessary arrangements in their personal life to be at work as scheduled

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility, or similar relevant experience (bottling and/or canning experience and mechanical knowledge a plus)

Must be detail-oriented

Understanding of production processes

Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement

Ability to follow written and oral instructionsAbility to work in a team

Ability to lift 50 lbs, to bend, and stand or walk for long periods of time in a fast-paced environment

Must have good attendance and the ability be on time daily

Computer skills a plus
