Professional Experience
Specializing in health and psychology, I have written a dozen books and many articles for national magazines including Readers Digest, Redbook, Family Circle, Womens Day, Ladies Home Journal, Seventeen and 'TEEN.
I have appeared on Oprah and The Today Show several times in connection with my books. In addition to journalism degrees from Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism, I have graduate degrees in Clinical Psychology and Human Behavior and am a licensed psychotherapist. I was a national spokesperson for Procter and Gamble's Always division for a national publicity tour and also did some product material for Johnson&Johnson.
