I'm a clever writer who has supported his own projects through small-time freelance, part-time tutoring, and some side jobs unrelated to writing. After the Tsunami

The Japanese port city of Kamaishi has been destroyed four times since 1896, most recently by the 2011 Tohoku tsunami. I happened to live in Kamaishi between 2007 and 2008, and so I returned to see the damage and tell the story of the city's slow build to recovery.
