Professional Experience
I am a contract writer and editor who has worked for national and local publications, nonprofits, small businesses and individuals.
I am currently a financial news reporter for The Street and Main Street, where I cover the beats of climate/energy, health, education and wage/labor issues. My articles for the Street have often been the most viewed, commented and shared on the site the given week they were posted, at times receiving upwards of a quarter of a million views and 1,800 comments.
I've written for many other media outlets on a range of topics, but environmental issues are one of my niches as I have a Master's degree in natural resources and environmental policy.
In addition to my work as a journalist, I've also worked as an editor on everything from high school text books to white papers to policy briefs to magazine articles to someone's book-length memoir.
