I have 15+ years experience as a magazine designer and art director. I have experience assigning photos and illustrations for FOB, features and covers as well as being instrumental in conceptualizing them; overseeing photo shoots; approving and correcting color separations; going on press; art directing a junior and a senior designer; overseeing a photo and a production department and budgeting.
My overall design style is clean and bold. I have a good eye for typography and mix colors well. I'm adept at picking up the look of a magazine easily when freelancing as well as creating from scratch when necessary (ie. redesigns, special issues).
