The primary responsibility of the Advertising Sales Executive is to meet and exceed sales goals within their designated territory by promoting and selling outdoor advertising to qualified advertisers. Our ideal candidate will utilize professional sales techniques and cultivate long-lasting advertising relationships to drive Lamar advertising sales.

- Comfortable making cold calls both over the phone and in person.

Education and Experience:
- Current and Valid Driver's License is required.
- A college degree is preferred.
- Previous outdoor advertising sales experience is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.
- CRM experience is preferred.

A Day in the Life:
On a regular basis, you will:
- Meet and exceed sales targets by monitoring personal sales data and reports.
- Target businesses in your assigned area, visiting both established Lamar clients and competitors.
- Demonstrate knowledge of local and national competition.
- Organize accounts for efficient engagement.
- Identify opportunities for growth and develop new accounts.
- Utilize Lamar's computer tools to find prospects, follow up on leads, and prepare proposals and presentations.
- Enhance your presentation skills using relevant computer tools and present regularly to clients.
- Expand your product knowledge and selling techniques.
- Actively participate in sales meetings, regional meetings, seminars, and trade shows.
- Perform administrative duties, including:
- Maintaining daily, weekly, and monthly sales plans.
- Following up on client production orders and addressing any issues.
- Keeping organized and current records of clients and sales activities.
- The work atmosphere combines office work with field sales calls and servicing existing accounts.
- Physical demands include light lifting, visual acuity, sitting less than 50% of the time, standing, talking, walking, and turning.
- Traveling overnight is rare, occurring less than 10% of the time.
