The Sales Account Executive's primary responsibility is to achieve and surpass sales goals in their designated territory by promoting and selling outdoor advertising solutions to qualified clients. You will be expected to utilize captivating sales techniques and cultivate long-lasting advertising relationships to enhance Lamar's advertising revenues.

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid driver's license is required.
  • Preferred: College degree.
  • Previous sales experience in outdoor advertising is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with CRM software is preferred.

A typical day involves meeting and exceeding sales targets, monitoring personal sales reports, strategizing with existing clients, and exploring new business opportunities. You will engage with local clients and competitors, utilize our tools for prospecting and follow-ups, and prepare compelling proposals and presentations. Administrative tasks, including maintaining organized sales records, will also be part of your routine.

Work Environment:

  • The role combines an office environment with fieldwork visiting clients.
  • Physical demands include light lifting, sight activities, sitting less than 50% of the time, and ample walking and talking.
  • Overnight travel is minimal, less than 10% of working time.
