The Community Manager oversees the operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager. Responsibilities include personnel management, leasing, maintenance, financial oversight, and administrative duties, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Personnel management, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management
  • On-site attendance and supervision of staff
  • Financial management, including budgeting, rent collection, and expense control
  • Leasing management, including marketing, resident relations, and lease signing
  • Property maintenance oversight, ensuring timely repairs and property appearance
  • Emergency response and safety compliance

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience in property management or related field
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with property management software

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively and work flexible hours, including weekends and emergencies
  • Ability to lift objects up to 25 lbs. and work in various environments

License/Equipment:

  • Reliable transportation required

Salary range: $55,000 - $64,000 annually. Benefits include health insurance, 401K, bonuses, paid time off, and holidays. This description is not exhaustive and may be modified as needed.
