Role Overview: The Community Manager oversees all operations of a housing community, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administrative, and risk management aspects. As an on-site leader, you will supervise staff and ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personnel management, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
- Financial management: achieving net operating income, developing budgets, and ensuring timely deposits and charges.
- Leasing management: developing marketing plans, leasing prospective residents, and implementing resident retention programs.
- Administrative and maintenance oversight: ensuring reporting accuracy, property appearance, and timely repairs.
- Emergency response and customer service to ensure resident satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred, or relevant experience.
- CAM or ARM certification preferred.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
Physical Requirements: Ability to communicate effectively, work in various environments, and lift objects up to 25 lbs. Must have reliable transportation for emergency on-call duties.
Compensation: Salary range: $80,000 - $85,000 annually, plus benefits including health insurance, 401K, bonuses, and paid leave.
