Position Summary
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, recognizing associates, and promoting a belonging mindset. Recruits and develops qualified associates to meet staffing needs and support company growth. Coordinates and oversees job-related activities by building relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans to meet customer and business needs, and promoting continuous learning. Leads teams effectively through teaching, training, and feedback; communicates store operations, business initiatives, and company direction; and supports change efforts. Ensures exceptional customer service by following the OBW service model, managing customer issues, and leading process improvements. Ensures compliance with policies and supports company values through action plans and the Open Door Policy. Drives financial performance by reviewing P&L statements, managing budgets, and ensuring effective merchandise presentation and inventory flow. Embraces diversity, fosters a culture of belonging, and builds trusting relationships. Acts with integrity, delivering results with a customer-first approach, and seeks continuous improvement and innovation.

Minimum Qualifications
2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience. For firearm-selling facilities, successful completion of a firearms-specific CBC and training is required. All associates must complete required training and assessments, including Academy and Open Door trainings.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership via Live Better U and Bellevue University, or a Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership. Experience supervising five or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
