We’re looking for a UX Designer who can design intuitive, responsive user experiences for a large-scale 3D video game built in Unreal Engine 5. The focus is on creating clear, accessible, and engaging player flows for menus, HUDs, in-game systems, and matchday presentation layers.

The ideal candidate has shipped at least one 3D video game —sports, action, or simulation titles preferred—and knows how to translate complex gameplay systems into clean, frictionless player experiences .

You’ll Work On:

  • Designing and prototyping HUDs, menus, front-end flows, and in-game interfaces for a soccer simulation
  • Building wireframes, interaction flows, and UI states for both gameplay and meta systems (e.g. tactics, career management, match overlays)
  • Translating real-world sports presentation (broadcast graphics, overlays, stat panels) into interactive, readable UI for players
  • Collaborating with UI artists, motion graphics designers, and engineers to implement designs in Unreal Engine 5 (UMG, Blueprints)
  • Conducting usability testing and iterating designs to balance clarity, speed, and immersion
  • Creating documentation, style guides, and interaction libraries to ensure consistency across all user-facing features

Requirements:

  • At least 1 shipped 3D video game (sports, action, simulation preferred)
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UX design for interactive experiences (games or similar)
  • Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.)
  • Hands-on experience implementing UX in Unreal Engine 5 (UMG, Blueprints, Widget Blueprints)
  • Deep understanding of input design across controller, mouse/keyboard, and potentially touch
  • Ability to collaborate tightly with engineers, designers, and artists in a fast-paced production environment

Bonus Points:

  • Experience designing UX for sports or broadcast-inspired interfaces
  • Familiarity with soccer presentation flow: score bugs, stat overlays, replays, substitutions, and set-piece UI
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices in game UX (color contrast, readability, input mapping)
  • Passion for soccer and a desire to contribute to the most authentic virtual soccer experience possible

This is a hands-on UX role : you’ll define, test, and implement the player’s experience layer from the main menu to the final whistle.
