The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects thousands of students nationwide who seek online AP English Literature and Composition tutoring. As a tutor on the platform, you can set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and impact students' learning from home.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring in AP English Literature and Composition.
• Assess student needs, tailor lessons, and adapt to individual learning styles.
• Prepare and deliver engaging lessons using the Live Learning Platform.
• Invoice for tutoring sessions and manage your own schedule; payments are processed by Varsity Tutors.

What We Look For In a Tutor

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in AP English Literature and Composition and ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Prior tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base rates start at $18/hour, with potential to earn up to $40/hour for some sessions.
• Payments up to twice per week; you invoice for sessions and we handle payments.
• Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like.
• Remote tutoring via the Live Learning Platform; no commuting.
• AI-powered Tutor Copilot provides real-time support and resources to enhance sessions.
