What you'll do
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and providing recognition; promote a belonging mindset in the workplace; recruit and develop qualified associates to meet staffing needs and support company growth.
- Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities by building relationships with key stakeholders; support plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs; communicate goals; drive accountability and measure progress; identify and address improvement opportunities; adapt to change and promote continuous learning.
- Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, listening to associates; tour stores and provide feedback (Tour-to-Teach); communicate and collaborate with all levels of staff regarding store operations, technology, merchandising, and company direction; lead change efforts and implement business solutions with clear expectations.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service standards following the One Best Way (OBW) service model; support customer service initiatives; resolve customer needs and issues; develop action plans to correct deficiencies; provide process improvement leadership for high-quality customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and ethics; support mission and values; apply Open Door Policy in daily work and guide others in executing business processes and practices.
- Drive financial performance and sales for the store area by reviewing P&L statements, budgeting, forecasting, and controlling expenses; ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes; mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
- Promote an inclusive culture that respects differences and creates opportunities for associates to thrive; build teamwork, integrity, and accountability; deliver results with a customer-first mindset.

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00-$80,000.00. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses and other position-based pay elements (RPZ, complex structure, etc.).
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: 2 years’ college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience. For facilities selling firearms, successful completion of CBC and firearms training may be required. Some facilities may require a state-issued Certificate of Eligibility. Associates must complete all job-required trainings (e.g., Academy, Open Door).
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University; Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership; experience supervising 5+ direct reports including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
