A full-time Teacher of the Visually Impaired is needed for the 2025-2026 school year to support K-12 students across multiple locations. This itinerant position requires providing specialized instruction and support to visually impaired students at seven different schools within Winter Haven, FL. The role is onsite only and follows a contract schedule for the new school year.

Key Responsibilities: Deliver tailored educational programs and assistive technology training to visually impaired students. Assess students individual needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs). Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, families, and related service providers to implement strategies that promote student success. Provide orientation and mobility training as needed. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for each student. Participate in meetings and professional development related to visual impairment education. Qualifications: Valid teaching certification with endorsement or qualification in Visual Impairment. Experience working with K-12 visually impaired students. Strong knowledge of instructional methods and technology for students with visual impairments. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to efficiently manage an itinerant schedule servicing multiple schools. Location: Onsite in Winter Haven, Florida at seven school sites.
