This role reports to the Associate Director and is a crucial part of the social media team. It offers the unique opportunity to be on the ground floor of a fast-growing specialty agency.
The Account Strategist, LinkedIn Advertising works directly with our mid-market and enterprise clients, leads communications of results, creates custom strategies, and executes Paid Media deliverables. You will gain experience creating high-performing LinkedIn strategies for B2B businesses.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead a collection of Social Media accounts
- Serve as direct support to client contacts
- Weekly communication with vendors or operational partners to ensure alignment on tasks, work quality, and improvements
- Build strategies for clients each quarter
- Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid media campaigns
- Deeply understand client positioning and unique value propositions
- Confirm lead routing is accurate within a CRM
- Maintain personal productivity and utilization
- Collaborate with the Associate Director to achieve internal and client goals
- Understand the value of Programmatic campaigns
- Drive cross-sells, upsells and referrals via client relationships
- Execute and optimize advertising campaigns within LinkedIn, including ad copywriting, TAM development, and targeting to maximize ROI
What You Offer
- 2+ years experience at a performance/digital marketing agency supporting B2B clients
- Deep expertise in paid social advertising campaigns, specifically LinkedIn Ads
- Understanding of LinkedIn Ad Units such as conversation ads, document ads, CTV and more
- Proficiency with advertising platforms and tools (LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Zoominfo, 6Sense, etc.)
- Strong understanding of paid principles: keyword research, ad copywriting, bid management, campaign optimization
- Ability to analyze campaign data using Google Analytics/GA4/Excel or similar tools to drive decisions
- Ability to drive results and measure via OCT
- Experience with audience segmentation by tier, job title, etc.
- Proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
- Ability to translate strategy and tell stories with data
- Problem solver with a competitive and curious mindset

- Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects
- Quality-focused and ethical approach to advertising
- Willingness to travel to visit clients approximately once per year, per client or as needed

- Make strong strategic decisions for accounts

- The annual base salary range for this position in the United States is $70,000- $80,000 USD with potential for bonus eligibility. This is an estimate and may vary based on compensation practices, skills, and experience.

Work Environment Requirements
As a remote-first company, you can work from anywhere in the US, with optional offices in Irvine, CA. Global opportunities are available where we have established businesses, including Canada, the UK, and Australia, requiring current work authorization and residency in that country.
This role can be 100% virtual from your home office. We primarily collaborate via Zoom and Slack. You will need a laptop (PC or Mac), access to necessary software, and reliable internet. You may need to remain stationary for extended periods and must understand written and verbal communication.
