Base pay range:

$102,900.00/yr – $135,075.00/yr .

Overview At Jacobs, we deliver cost‑effective, transformative projects to heavy industrial clients, including specialty chemical, electric vehicle, and manufacturing markets. You will work as a building mechanical HVAC Designer, performing field investigations, interfacing with clients and vendors, sizing and selecting equipment, and preparing construction design packages.

Responsibilities

Layout and design of HVAC systems.

Development of conceptual and preliminary design documents, including calculations for sizing and selection, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements.

Development of final construction documents for chilled water, cooling water, etc.

Coordination with other disciplines.

Accountable for schedule and technical quality of engineering tasks.

Qualifications

At least ten (10) years’ experience in HVAC design for industrial facilities.

Proficiency in Revit.

Knowledge of codes and standards related to HVAC design.

Adaptability to fast‑paced team environment with multiple deadlines.

Remote collaboration skills.

Preferred

Experience with AutoCAD, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D.

Experience in plumbing/utility system design.
