Course Design Specialist – Office of Digital Learning
Location: Tallahassee, FL Regular/Temporary: Regular Full/Part Time: Full-Time Responsibilities
Review digital course content to determine enhancement needs; remediate documents, images, and videos to ensure they meet accessibility standards; meet with instructors to provide course mapping, determine timelines for remediation; assist with course mapping and site adjustments to meet Quality Matters metrics. Provide information/training on instructional technology including Canvas LMS, Kaltura/Annoto, CidiLabs, DesignPlus, Ally, Hypothesis, and other instruction tools; provide updates and recommendations to Quality Matters Project Managers, ODL Faculty Development Unit, and ODL Directors on course site progress and instructional technology needs. Conduct research on various projects and perform other duties as assigned that support ODL initiatives and the mission of the department. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and at least two years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalent and at least six years of experience (post high school education and experience combined to equal six years).
