What You Will Be Doing
Leveraging AI to create interactive simulations that render historical events and geographical phenomena concrete and unforgettable for learners.
Examining learning data to identify trends that will shape adaptive pathways, guaranteeing that each student's individual progression is both compelling and successful.
Building advanced digital resources that animate historical personalities and global terrain, ranging from virtual expeditions across eras to immersive cultural experiences.
Working with a cross‑functional team of educators and technologists to develop innovative methodologies that reimagine the teaching and experience of social studies.
Converting intricate historical and geographic principles into captivating, accessible content powered by AI‑driven personalization.

Overseeing traditional curricula or becoming mired in administrative tasks—this position focuses on innovation and tangible impact.
Working in isolation—you’ll collaborate with a team of dedicated experts focused on expanding possibilities.

Instructional Designer Key Responsibilities Achieve measurable gains in students' command of social studies concepts, doubling the rate at which they absorb essential historical and geographic knowledge through innovative, AI‑powered methodologies.
Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in History, Geography, or a related field.
3+ years of experience teaching or developing social studies curricula, with demonstrable results in improving student outcomes.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
Experience with AI applications in education, such as content creation, adaptive learning, or data analysis.
Outstanding communication skills to translate complex social studies topics into engaging narratives.

Working with Us This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The role is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
