We are seeking a

Commercial Lines Account Manager/Marketing Specialist

to be responsible for the daily servicing of a book of business on assigned accounts with direct accountability for client satisfaction and retention. Responsibilities include client and carrier relationship management, policy related service, accounts receivable management and file management. The role requires the coordination of multiple tasks to meet various deadlines and quality standards. $90,000 - $110,000 + Bonus Key Responsibilities

Analyze new business prospects with program structure & market selection with producer assistance Round out existing accounts by proactively selling additional coverages or policies. Discuss/coordinate renewal strategy with the client; producer to provide guidance as needed Coordinate proposal presentations and assist in presentations to clients Communicate effectively with clients, underwriters, and co-workers both in writing and verbally to achieve desired results Make coverage recommendations/suggestions Review renewals with producers 90-120 days prior to renewal. Request necessary updates from the client, obtain & review renewal data, complete applications & prepare submission. Research and answer coverage questions from clients and producers; prepare any supporting documentation Negotiate with both insurance company underwriters and clients to obtain the best outcomes considering all parties involved Manage carrier relationships on behalf of clients to ensure the accurate and timely issuance of policies and endorsements as agreed upon Verify, dispute and process policies, endorsements and audits in a timely manner. Update agency management systems to ensure all required entries are made and documentation is created and correctly filed in accordance with established timetables, naming conventions and procedures. Manage surplus lines and other special procedures to ensure compliance with state regulations. Establishes trust with the Producer in order to achieve great experience for the client. Increase industry and job knowledge as measured by attendance at continuing education, attaining or updating designations, and participation in other agency training offerings Participate in prospect, client and market visits in order to better assist customers Travel or visit insurance companies and/or clients, when necessary Maintain confidentiality of client and company information Perform other duties, as assigned, appropriate to the position Qualifications

Education & Experience A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required Minimum of

3-5 years’ experience

in commercial insurance is preferred Commercial Insurance license

required ; CPCU or CIC designation ideal Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and able to quickly learn and utilize other computer applications Self-motivated, organized – must be able to manage projects and time independently Ability to operate in a fast-paced, energetic environment Extremely accurate and detail-oriented Knowledge of insurance terms and documents Ability to analyze and interpret data Strong and professional verbal and written communication skills; must have the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly Understand and maintain fiduciary responsibility for company, client, and producer At Tropolis, we prioritize our employees' well-being and financial security.
