People Consulting - Organizational Design Manager-Consulting
Join EY as a Manager in Our People Consulting – Organizational Design Team and drive long‑term value for clients by designing people‑centric organizations and workforce strategies.
Locations: Dallas, Boston, New York City, Iselin, Philadelphia, McLean, Washington, Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Minneapolis, Austin, Denver, Houston, Irvine, Los Angeles, Portland, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, Seattle.
Opportunity As a trusted advisor, you will lead large‑scale organizational design projects, advise stakeholders, and influence operating models and change initiatives across functional areas such as supply chain, IT, finance, and customer‑facing teams. You will design organizations at the operating model and organizational design level to achieve strategic intent, and help clients structure teams for agile ways of working.
Key Responsibilities
Lead project workstreams from planning through implementation, managing resources, budgets, risks and issues.
Apply organizational design, strategic workforce planning, and change management as integral components of transformational initiatives.
Assess and design operating models and organizational structures to support acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, and other strategic changes.
Engage clients in data‑driven discussions on digital assets and analytics to support design solutions.
Build and sustain client relationships, contributing to new engagement opportunities and revenue growth.
Influence and persuade stakeholders to support major change initiatives.
Promote collaboration and inclusive working environments within the team.
Coach and develop colleagues, serving as a visible role model.
Qualifications
Relevant professional service experience in a global management consultancy or a niche consulting firm with large‑scale project exposure.
6‑9 years of experience in operating model development, organizational structure and design, strategic workforce planning, capability mapping, or organizational governance.
Proven track record leading organizational‑design engagements in at least one functional domain (supply chain, IT, finance, customer, sales & marketing).
Strong analytical skills with experience managing and analyzing large datasets, and expertise in digital assets for design projects.
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, psychology, or a related field.
Willingness to travel and comfortably work in a hybrid environment (average three days per week at client site or EY office).
