A K-12 school in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a qualified Teacher for the Visually Impaired for a contract position covering the current school year (CSY). Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction and support to visually impaired students across all grade levels (K-12). Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs. Collaborate with school staff, families, and other specialists to ensure prehensive student support. Utilize assistive technologies and resources to enhance learning. Monitor and document student progress regularly. Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities. Qualifications: Certification or licensure as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired. Experience working with visually impaired students in a K-12 educational setting. Strong knowledge of teaching strategies and acmodations for visually impaired learners. Ability to develop and implement effective instructional plans. Effective munication and collaboration skills. Patience, adaptability, and a mitment to student success. Location: Winston-Salem, North Carolina Contract Details: Position is a contract role for the current school year (CSY).
