Job Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of 1st and 3rd party injury claims of low to moderate complexity across various regions
Conduct coverage determinations and investigative work concerning liability and damage issues
Handle first notice of loss calls and participate in the department phone queue as needed
Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims effectively with insureds and claimants
Actively contribute to shaping company culture through participation in employee resource groups and volunteering
Qualifications
4-5 years of claims experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years in casualty adjuster experience
High school diploma (HS/GED) or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry
Must hold an Adjuster's license for applicable states or obtain licenses within 90 days of filling the position
Strong understanding of liability injury claims and coverage issues
>Ability to effectively communicate case facts and collaborate with team members
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of casualty claims adjuster experience
BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in handling commercial claims
Bilingual (Spanish) skills
Proven ability to actively engage in and enhance company culture through involvement in team activities
