What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage all claims efficiently and effectively to an appropriate resolution with minimal supervision
Handle all aspects of liability injury claims of low to moderate complexity
Make coverage determinations and conduct investigative work related to claims
Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims with insureds and claimants
Actively participate in shaping company culture and fulfilling business needs
What is Required (Qualifications)
4-5 years of claims experience with a minimum of 3-5 years in casualty adjuster experience
High school diploma (HS/GED) or a minimum of 3 years experience in casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry
Must hold an Adjuster's license for all applicable states or obtain license(s) within 90 days of filling the position
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
Willingness to travel as needed for role
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
5+ years of casualty claims adjuster experience
BA/BS in business, insurance, or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Commercial claims handling experience
Bilingual in Spanish
Active participation in employee resource groups or volunteering initiatives
