Manage all claims efficiently and effectively to an appropriate resolution with minimal supervision Handle all aspects of liability injury claims of low to moderate complexity Make coverage determinations and conduct investigative work related to coverage issues Develop negotiation strategies to resolve claims effectively with insureds and claimants Participate in employee resource groups and contribute to company culture initiatives What is Required (Qualifications)
4-5 years of claims experience, with a minimum of 3-5 years in casualty adjuster experience High school diploma or GED, or a minimum of 3 years experience in a casualty claims role within the P&C insurance industry Must hold an Adjuster's license for all applicable states or obtain licenses within 90 days of filling the position Exceptional communication skills and ability to work independently Willingness to travel as needed for divisional/team meetings and other in-person engagements How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
5+ years of casualty claims adjuster experience BA/BS in business, insurance, or a related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience Commercial claims handling experience Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus Active participation in company culture initiatives and community service
