Order Picker

Job Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Order Picker at our San Diego, California warehouse. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from various locations within our facility to fulfill customer orders. This position is essential to our logistics chain, ensuring timely and accurate shipment of goods. We are looking for dedicated individuals with a strong focus on detail and a commitment to a safe working environment.
Responsibilities:

• Receive pick orders via handheld scanner or paper lists.
• Navigate warehouse aisles to locate and retrieve specified items.
• Verify product codes, descriptions, and quantities against order requirements.
• Use pallet jacks or other equipment to move items as needed.
• Report any stock discrepancies, damages, or low inventory levels.
• Stage picked items in the designated area for packing and shipping.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Participate in inventory counts as directed.
• Adhere to all company Safety rules and regulations, including the use of PPE.
• Collaborate effectively with fellow team members and supervisors.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as an order picker, warehouse associate, or in a related role is beneficial.
• Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the shift.
• Must be able to perform moderate to heavy Lifting, up to 50 lbs, on a regular basis.
• Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and high-visibility vests.
• Knowledge of basic warehouse Safety practices.
• Familiarity with warehouse logistics is an advantage.
• Reliable and punctual attendance.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
