HCM Account Executive
and help us drive HR and payroll solutions for modern workforces. Position Overview
Responsibilities include prospecting and developing business sales relationships, supporting the entire sales cycle, and closing new and expanded sales agreements in a fast‑paced, quota‑driven environment targeting medium‑sized businesses (49‑499 employees). The role is fully remote (U.S. only). Primary Responsibilities
Generate net-new business opportunities through telemarketing, referrals, and professional contacts. Schedule and present Paylocity services with prospective clients. Prepare proposals and follow‑up through the sales process. Obtain required client documentation and coordinate transition to Paylocity systems. Collaborate with internal departments for smooth client onboarding. Build and maintain relationships with broker channels and other referral sources. Maintain contact with existing customers to identify additional service opportunities. Attend trade shows, conferences, and other events to promote Paylocity services. Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quota for your territory. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree strongly desired. 3–5 years of sales experience. Ability to thrive in a competitive, activity‑driven environment. Proven track record of sales success. Strong presentation, written, and oral communication skills. Strong organizational and time‑management skills. Proficiency with MS Office and internet applications. Critical thinking and decision‑making skills for handling objections. Customer‑service orientation. Physical Requirements
Mobility for sitting, standing, and walking. Mobility for driving to prospective client sites. Manual/finger dexterity to operate keyboard and manipulate small objects. Sensory ability to see, hear, and touch. Mental effort for reading, writing, visualization, calculation, and analysis. Work performed in an office environment with typical temperatures and air conditions. Benefits
