What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Develop and execute sales strategies while leading Regional Sales Managers and the Inside Sales team
Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and competitive positioning
Build and maintain high-level relationships with key accounts across the US and Canada
Drive revenue growth through various channels including contractors, panel shops, and end users
Educate and mentor sales teams on application and value-based selling of ERICO Surge Products
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or applicable experience in technical electrical sales
Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical electrical sales, with a focus on surge protection or switchgear sales
Proven experience leading inside and outside sales teams
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills for guiding customers towards solutions
Proficiency in CRM platforms and sales analytics tools
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience with surge protection or switchgear sales specifically
Familiarity with construction project sites and ability to navigate them physically
Prior experience in value-based selling techniques
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multiple internal teams
Knowledge of local market dynamics and trends in electrical solutions
