What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Develop and implement sales strategies while leading Regional Sales Managers and the Inside Sales team
Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities and understand competitive landscapes
Build and maintain high-level relationships with Key Accounts across the US and Canada
Negotiate contracts and manage local programs to drive customer growth and revenue achievement
Mentor and educate sales teams on value-based selling of ERICO Surge Products
What is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or applicable experience in technical electrical sales
Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical electrical sales, with a focus on surge protection or switchgear sales
Proven experience leading inside and outside sales teams
Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time across the US and Canada
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous experience with surge protection or switchgear sales
Established network within the electrical industry, including contractors and panel shops
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a focus on customer-focused solutions
Experience in conducting engineering workshops and on-site surveys
Familiarity with inventory management and local branch marketing strategies
