Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret order sheets or use RF scanning devices to identify and locate products.
- Retrieve correct items and quantities from warehouse shelving and storage areas.
- Ensure accuracy of picked items against order specifications.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through diligent picking practices.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Meet individual and team productivity goals.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment as needed to access inventory.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
- Previous experience in order picking or a similar warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to walk, stand, and lift throughout the entire shift.
- Capacity to lift up to 40 lbs consistently.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of safe work practices and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
